Lindsay and Dustin both live and work in Pittsburgh, but they made their way down to North Carolina, where Lindsay is originally from, for their engagement session. Because of the distance, they were unsure if they would be able to take engagement photos, but when I heard they were making the trip here, I was so excited for the opportunity to get them in front of my camera (in my own backyard!) before their wedding next year!

I have known Lindsay for many years, as our moms used to work together at our childhood school, but it was such a pleasure finally getting to meet Dustin, whom I had heard so much about from Lindsay over the phone. Before their session, the three of us all sat down together, got to know each other more, and I got to hear more about their plans for what I can only imagine will be a beautiful June wedding! Dustin and Lindsay are such sweet people, and together, they make the perfect couple! They’re kind, goofy, and so in love. As we were talking, Dustin mentioned to me how important it was to him to capture their true personalities, so I was sure to capture both the sweet and silly side of their relationship. I loved getting to follow them around in my backyard, laughing along with them, and capturing their beautiful love story! Dustin and Lindsay, thank you again for making me a part of such an exciting time in your lives. I cannot wait until your wedding next summer!
