Jimmy and Nicole’s wedding earlier this month was fun, vibrant, and full of the sweetest moments! Both Jimmy and Nicole have such fun-loving spirits, and their day perfectly reflected them and their personalities! I was lucky enough to be a part of their wedding day, and it was definitely the perfect way to kick off my Spring wedding season (nothing says “Spring” like rich colors and wildflowers everywhere)!

Every part of Jimmy and Nicole’s wedding day was joyful from beginning to end, and it was also full of many surprises! I often get asked what my favorite part to capture on a wedding day is, and I always say the first look, whether that’s a bride and groom having a private moment together before the ceremony, or as the bride is walking down the aisle towards her soon-to-be husband. That’s the moment where true emotions that have been built up for so long finally spill over, and it creates some of the most beautiful and raw moments of any wedding day. And let me tell you, Jimmy’s first look at Nicole was by far one of the sweetest moments I’ve seen as a wedding photographer! Jimmy and Nicole have such a genuine love for one another, and to capture one of the most important days of their life was such an honor!

Their day was not only filled with beautiful moments, but also some of the most beautiful details, from the wildflower alter backdrop to the lush and vibrant colors of the bouquets. I also loved that at every table, there was a different elephant figurine, since Nicole loves elephants! I love it when my couples add their own personal touches to their wedding day details!
