Anytime one of my couples suggests going back to the place where their relationship began for their engagement session, I always get so excited! There’s just something so much fun about following along with them as they relive those moments that brought them to where they are today and getting to capture the joy on their faces!

When brainstorming locations, Corrine told me about her family beach home in Emerald Isle, where she has come every summer since she was thirteen. Emerald Isle is also where Max asked Corrine to marry him, so I knew it was going to be the perfect fit for their engagement session! The day of their session was a chilly winter day, but the wind and ocean were so calm. I had a blast with Max and Corrine, walking along the beach and exploring around the pier, talking about their wedding, and ending their session at the very bar where Max proposed! Max and Corrine are such a sweet couple and I’m so honored that they let me capture them together in a place that holds so much meaning to them and their relationship.
