Most people who know me know I am not a morning person. But believe me when I say that waking up early for Rob and Stephanie’s sunrise engagement session was SO worth it! Starting my day off with these two and their infectious laughter and smiles was the perfect way to set the tone for the rest of my day. Rob and Stephanie are so incredibly sweet and the way they care for each other is truly inspiring. Hearing the way Rob kept saying how amazing Stephanie looked throughout their session and seeing how Stephanie would feed off of Rob’s energy was just so sweet. I couldn’t help but think just how lucky I am to have amazing clients like these two!

Rob and Stephanie are getting married later this fall at The Cotton Room in Durham, so when Stephanie suggested Duke Gardens for their engagement session, I thought it was perfect! It was about 30 degrees when we arrived, but you couldn’t even tell. These two cuddled up and embraced the cold (and each other!) and created some true magic in front of the camera! I loved getting to watch these two together and capture so many sweet moments between them! It was such a special time getting to know more about them both and their relationship.

Rob and Stephanie, I have loved getting to know you both more and capturing you both during your engagement session has only made me that much more excited to be a part of your wedding day later this year! I’m so excited that you have chosen me to document this beautiful season of your relationship, and I cannot wait until your big day!
