I met Ashton through another one of my past brides who got married this past summer. Ashton was a bridesmaid at her wedding, and after she and Peter got engaged, she reached out to me about photographing her own wedding next year! Peter proposed to Ashton earlier this year on a beach at sunset (talk about the perfect setting!), and I even got to see the whole proposal on video! These two are not only an absolutely adorable and gorgeous couple, they’re also incredibly sweet and so fun to be around! For their engagement session, we decided to walk around downtown Durham, with all of the historic buildings and exposed brick, then end the evening at a nearby park with their three sweet pups! We could not have asked for more beautiful weather that day, and the only thing that made it even better was getting to follow these two around and capture their love! Peter and Ashton just fed off of each other’s energy the whole entire session, creating some stunning images, and I can only imagine how amazing their wedding day will be next August!
