When Michelle came to me this past July with her plans of a beautiful June wedding, I was absolutely thrilled! We shared the same wedding month and her color scheme was the same as mine (also, as the owner of a Starbucks, she might just be as obsessed with coffee as I am)! But needless to say, we instantly hit it off! However, after some very tough decision making, she and her fiancĂ©, Drew, decided to trade in their big wedding plans for a small intimate celebration with their closest friends and family as Drew was transitioning out of the military. Not only was it one of the most beautiful weddings I’ve shot to date, it was also one of the most meaningful weddings I’ve ever witnessed.
It was obvious that family meant everything to Michelle and Drew, and they even made me feel like I was a part of the family (I mean, come on, how many times does the photographer get to sit at the head table WITH the bride and groom and eat dinner with them?!). It was also very evident that these two were head-over-heels in love with each other! It was such a blessing and a privilege getting to capture these two, and I’m so excited to share some of the images from their wedding with you! A huge congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Fitzpatrick – thank you for allowing me to be a part of your wedding day!
