I’ve known Elisabeth for quite some time now (she knew me during one of my more awkward stages of life), so when she contacted me and asked me to photograph her wedding, I couldn’t have been more excited! She is such a sweet person and I knew she was going to make for an absolutely beautiful bride (and I was right)! The first time I ever met McDouglas, I was the photographer at another wedding. Without saying anything, he followed me around as I was taking photos and assisted me with the bride and groom – and he was a great assistant, I might add! Together, Elisabeth and McDouglas make such a great couple, so I knew shooting their wedding was going to be so much fun!
They had their wedding at Magnolia Manor Plantation in the historical town of Warrenton, North Carolina. And while it rained on and off, I didn’t see them without a huge grin on their faces the whole entire day! Oh, and did I mention they had THE sweetest first look of all time?! If you don’t believe me, the pictures will speak for themselves! Thank you, Elisabeth and McDouglas, for trusting me with your special day and for allowing me to be such a big part of it – it truly was beautiful. Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Perez!
A huge thanks to Colleen Mathias from Colleen Mathias Photography for assisting me!
