When I first met Andy and Sarah, it felt like reconnecting with old friends. They’re both so easy going and fun to be around, so when they asked me to be their photographer, I knew I was going to have so much fun with them! And I was right! This particular engagement session might just be one of my all-time favorites and I’m so excited to share it with you all!

When we first started planning their engagement session, Andy and Sarah mentioned that they wanted to do something different and unique for their photos. They wanted to go somewhere that held significance to them and their relationship while also doing something a little out of the ordinary. We tossed around a few awesome ideas, but ended up deciding on the great idea to take them at an airport because Andy also happens to be a pilot! When they came to me with this idea, I cannot tell you just how excited I was! And believe me when I say it lived up to my expectations and more! The evening of their session started off with beautiful (albeit hot) weather, and by the end, we were dodging one of the scariest summer storms I’ve seen in a while! But seeing the lightening across the sky from the airport was so neat! Andy and Sarah absolutely killed it during their session, and believe it or not, most of these images are completely candid! They were so natural in front of my camera, and it was so fun getting to capture the sweet relationship that these two share. Andy and Sarah, I had a blast with you guys during your session, and I cannot wait until your wedding next October!
