Eric and Sydnee’s story started in high school, where they met and started dating in 2009, and have been high school sweethearts ever since. They actually met at a football game while Eric was out on a date with Sydnee’s best friend (Don’t worry, it all worked out!). Eight years later, and they’re finally getting married! Right after their engagement, I met up with Sydnee to talk about her wedding photography, and she joked that she’s had eight years to plan her wedding! It’s rare that I meet two people who have such a strong connection with one another, but Eric and Sydnee are one of those couples. Seeing them interact during their engagement session showed me just how effortless their relationship is – every moment between them was so sweet and truly genuine!

We found the most dreamy location for their session, full of the most beautiful fields of tall grass. Sydnee has always had an interest in vintage fashion, and I loved that she incorporated that into their session (I’m still obsessing over her skirt!). I had the best time getting to know Eric and Sydnee more during their shoot, and I’m so incredibly excited to photograph their wedding in September!
