When I met Joseph and Kristen for the first time to discuss their wedding, I immediately fell in love with the simple approach they had to their wedding day. They didn’t want anything extravagant, they just wanted to have a small celebration and enjoy good fellowship with their friends and family. Their day was simple, intimate, sweet, and everything a wedding day should be (plus, I’m a sucker for any wedding that involves cute dogs). Joseph and Kristen were all smiles from beginning to end and their joy was absolutely infectious!

Joseph and Kristen were married surrounded by all of their closest friends and family in the heart of the North Carolina Botanical Gardens. What I loved so much about their day was that, because they opted out of doing a bridal party, I was able to spend most of their wedding day with just the two of them in front of my camera. Joseph and Kristen have such an obvious strong bond and when they’re together, there’s just something so sweet and beautiful about their relationship. Capturing them on one of the most important days of their lives was such a huge honor and a blessing to be a part of!
