When I first met Laurel, I was immediately drawn to her genuinely sweet and bubbly personality! During our initial meeting, it was so much fun getting to hear her chat excitedly about her and Alec’s relationship, how they met and fell in love, and the beautiful wedding they are planning for next June! It should also be noted that we quickly bonded over the fact that we both love labradors (wait until you see her and Alec’s precious chocolate lab puppy, Bailey). Due to crazy schedules, I didn’t get to meet Alec until the day of their session, but I knew immediately upon meeting him that he was the perfect fit for Laurel! Witnessing them together was such a sweet experience, and I was able to capture some truly beautiful moments during my time with them. They both love to laugh and have fun with each other and I didn’t see either of them without the biggest grin on their face the whole entire session!

For Alec and Laurel’s session, they wanted to bring a little bit of Raleigh to their photos since Alec graduated from NC State, so we decided on Dorothea Dix Park, which has an amazing view of the Raleigh skyline! We could not have asked for a more gorgeous day, with a slight breeze and just a hint of fall weather! We had so much fun walking around, playing with sweet Bailey, and chatting about wedding plans!

Alec and Laurel, thank you so much for letting me capture this exciting season of your relationship and for allowing me to be there for one of the biggest days of your lives! I know your wedding is going to be truly beautiful and I cannot wait until the day finally gets here!
