Words truly cannot express just how much I loved this wedding and the couple that made it so special and absolutely perfect! When I first talked with Kirsten over Skype about her wedding day, I knew that she and Rob were going to be so wonderful to work with. Because Rob and Kirsten live in Florida, I was only able to meet them in person one time before their big day, which was during their engagement session. Witnessing the two of them interact with each other only made me that much more excited to get them in front of my camera once again for their wedding day!

Rob and Kirsten were married in Raleigh at the Stockroom, right in the heart of downtown. Their wedding day just so happened to fall on the same day as Raleigh’s annual bluegrass festival, which closed down and blocked off the main road right outside of their venue. Most people (myself included) would have freaked out about this, but Rob and Kirsten handled it with the utmost grace and charm and just rolled with the punches! Once it was time for photos, they strolled through the thick crowds of people, hand in hand, and smiled and laughed the whole time! Nothing could have ruined this day for them: all they knew was that they were getting to marry the love of their life and that was all that mattered! Y’all, this is what marriage is all about! Life will throw curveballs at you, and you have to work together to make the most of it. I have no doubt in my mind that Rob and Kirsten are going to go far in their marriage!

Rob and Kirsten, thank you so much again for allowing me to capture this beautiful day for you both! You made my job so easy and I loved getting to witness and capture the love between you two! Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Damitz!
