Ethan + Caroline Bowman | Duke Chapel Wedding

Both Ethan and Caroline have such sweet presences, and getting to know them throughout their engagement was such a wonderful experience. They’re so much fun to be around and getting to capture their love story has been such a treat for me! I knew that their wedding day was going to be full of lots of fun and sweet moments, and I was right!

Ethan and Caroline were married at the beautiful Duke Chapel in Durham, where Caroline’s parents were married a little over 30 years ago. The first half of their wedding day brought plenty of rain, but not even the dreary weather outside could have put a damper on the pure joy of the day! Ethan and Caroline were so excited to be marrying each other, surrounded by all of their friends and family, and it certainly showed. My favorite part of their wedding was how much of an emphasis they put on their families and the legacies they have left behind over the years. A wedding day should be about celebrating those legacies while also celebrating the beginning of a new one as husband and wife, and that’s exactly what Ethan and Caroline did! Every single element and detail of their day was a unique reflection of Ethan and Caroline’s love story, and it all came together so beautifully!

Ethan and Caroline, thank you so much again for letting me capture your beautiful day and for trusting in me! I have loved getting to work with you both during this unforgettable season of your lives, and I could not be happier for you as you start this new chapter together!
