John and Carson are so much fun to hang out with, and my time with them during their engagement session was such a joy! John and I actually went to high school together (I was in chorus and an a cappella group with his sister. Yes, I was that chorus nerd!), so when Carson reached out to me about photographing their wedding next fall, I was so excited! These two have such a fun and carefree relationship, which was such a treat to photograph!

Because of the pandemic, John and Carson’s engagement session was one of my first sessions back after not having picked up my camera in almost two months and man, did it feel good to be back behind my lens! I could not have asked for a sweeter couple to have in front of my camera, and the chemistry between these two was so much fun to witness and capture. They were both all smiles and laughter throughout their whole session, and we had the best time wandering around UNC’s beautiful campus, where Carson went to school and where their love story first began.

John and Carson, I cannot thank you enough for trusting me with capturing this exciting season in your lives and I am so excited to do it all over again next year for your wedding day!
