Jack and Mackenzie are honestly two of the sweetest and most genuine people you will ever meet, and it was such a joy getting to spend my evening with them for their engagement session!

Due to some unforeseen bad weather, we had to reschedule their session twice (yay, hurricane season!). But y’all, third time’s the charm! We had the most beautiful and mild weather for their Duke Gardens engagement and it was the perfect backdrop for the magic that these two created in front of my camera! We explored all of the stunning corners of the gardens, talked about their wedding plans for next year, and even returned to the very spot where they first told each other “I love you” (and, of course, I had them sit there and say it again for old times sake).

Jack and Mackenzie, thank you so much for allowing me to capture this most exciting season for you both! It was so much fun getting to know the two of you better, and I cannot wait for your wedding next August!
