I met Suzanna several years ago while in college through her identical twin, Colleen, who also happens to be my faithful second shooter and one of my best friends from college. Suzanna is one of the sweetest people you’ll ever meet, she loves to laugh and be goofy (my kind of girl!), and I’ve loved getting to know her more through being her wedding photographer! I also had the opportunity to meet Nick a few years back while assisting Colleen with her and Suzanna’s own brother’s wedding. It wasn’t until I got both Nick and Suzanna together for their engagement session that I really got to see them interact as a couple. I loved the way they were both able to let loose and have fun with each other! I captured so many sweet and candid moments during that session, and it was no different on their wedding day! I had such a fun time being their photographer and getting to know the sweet couple that they are along the way!

Nick and Suzanna were married at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Fayetteville, North Carolina, then they held their reception afterwards at the gorgeous Fox Hollow Farms just down the road. I instantly fell in love with their honey and bee theme (I mean, how adorable is that for a summer wedding??). They had so many beautiful details, from the honeycomb design on their wedding cake, to the honey stick favors for all of their guests. There was lots of dancing at the reception, the sweetest speeches from their family, and the night ended with the most spectacular display of fireworks! That’s how you throw a wedding celebration, guys! Suzanna and Nick, thank you for letting me share this day with you both – it was such a wonderful experience and I’m so glad I could capture this special day for you.
